New Laptop - Anime Evolution upcoming

To the awesome people who watch me here, sorry I've been so boring lately, I've been borrowing other people's computers for so long it's like I'm always having to move and set up somewhere new (if you've ever had a computer you had to reformat/reformats for you a lot you'll know how it feels).
After all this time I'm finally on my own laptop, shiny new and with a 2 year warrenty. (just have to work around Vista :puke:)
So now that I'm not hopping from computer to computer, thanks for being patient, I have a lot of things in the making that I'll be able to work on solidly now that I don't have to share my workspace with anybody (except for :iconl-sama: cause she rocks).

That being said, anyone else here going to Anime Evolution in Vancouver? I'm still debating whether I want to go (I'm pretty broke) but I'd be super psyched if anyone else here was attending.

it's overly stupid =\ lots of kids are still in school, or in exams,...they can't really expect the people from far away to travel when they have school. It seems really stupid =_= is it at UBC again?

Nah the convention center, maybe they're trying to weed out the minors so they won't need as much security at night.
I know it sounds mean but I'm almost looking forward to a few less hyper active kids running around :\

Yeah I tottaly understand what you mean.
I'm still pretty pissed though, I didn't get to go last year and was looking forward to going this year. If it was just one weekend earlier/later then I would be happy ):
