Tablet shaky cursor

So I figure we're a bunch of artists here right?
Has anyone encountered a problem with a wacom tablet (any model; bamboo or older) on windows (vista or XP )?
I had this problem with my old tablet on Vista, got a new tablet and still had the problem. I changed computers (Mac) and it went away. Back to my old XP today and lo and behold, my tablet cursor is shaking like there's an earthquake.
Windows keeps telling me that the tablet drivers aren't running.

I have:
Installed it and uninstalled it a few times.
Switched ports.
Tried finding help forums, no solution in sight.

Anyone have any ideas (something not mentioned above?) I can't figure out which is having the problem, the tablet or the operating system maybe?

I've not had errors, but I have a lot of problems with the tablet cursor shaking. I have Vista, but the weird thing is this didn't happen on my desktop with Vista back home.
WTF Wacom?

It just shakes and drifts up the page on its own when I hold it close to the pad.
I just wish I new a way to make this stop, this is the only things that keeps me from using my old laptop.

mine does that too... and I can't find a thing doing it either. It's weird, cuz it never had this problem with any desktops I've worked with. (Or even some of the laptops... maybe it's Vista's fault?)

But it's not specific to Vista, the only constant is Wacom and Windows, although I never had a problem before on XP with my old tablet. I installed the drivers but they're not running for bamboo :-?

I don't even know man... I've only ever used my Tablet on four computers. My desktop (HP), my laptop (Toshiba), my dad's Laptop (Death, I mean Dell), and my grandmother's PC (Gateway). So far only my Toshiba laptop has given me grief. Maybe it's because I downloaded that new driver they had available?

I just recently got a wacom tablet and I have Windows Vista. A couple of times the cursor just kept on shaking, making the webpage shake up and down. Sometimes it was because that the pen was rolling on the tablet.

I've had that problem at work, and turns out it was because my co-workers tablet was too close to mine (????) ..it was pretty weird.

I use vista and whenever my computer has an orgasm from doing something big (like ripping a CD or rendering something or opening something), my computer "forgets" what a tablet is and I have to reboot to get it to work again...

In conclusion: Fucking tablets are fucked.
